Narrative Pitch

Within the clip above I address all of the possible story lines that will influence my final film/ be the final product. All three of my ideas bounce off of one another, they are all similar and are idea developments of the first. The idea of creating a music idea became appealing to me because it allows me to express my interpretation of the music and how I want it to be perceived. Aside from this, I wanted (in my third idea) to create more of a linear story line, this would run over before and after the music track I choose, evidently creating more of a short film than a music video. Within a music video the length of footage is restricted by the length of the song, by effectively creating a film with the music playing underneath I can express for a longer amount of time what I want to portray.
Like Zayn's music video 'Dusk Till Dawn' he films a full music video based off a short film, interjecting with voice overs throughout the song. Another example is Sia's 'To Be Human' features clips taken from a film. Throughout the pitch my audience were very engaged and asked interesting question to which I could answer easily, my response seen above.
